Vegan Chick-Fil-A nuggets are so delicious! But they are not cruelty free.
Today we are going to prepare a great cruelty free variant of these nuggets.
We will provide the right crunch and the right consistency to them.
They are also very easy and fast to prepare.
So, here’s the recipe:

The ingredients to prepare Vegan Chick-Fil-A Nuggets are:
- 1 Block Extra Firm Tofu
- 3 tbsp Dill Pickle Juice
- 4 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Dried Onion
- 2 tbsp Paprika
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1 Cup Flour
- ½ Cup Rice Starch
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Oat Milk
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
To prepare this recipe, these are the steps to follow:
The first thing we need to do is to press and drain our tofu block for 20 minutes.
We need to get rid of most of the liquids in the tofu for this recipe.
After that, mix the dill pickle juice and the water in a small bow. Add the salt.
At this point, cut the tofu block into 6 pieces and place them in the brine we prepared with the dill pickle juice.
Let nuggets brine for about 5 minutes before getting them out.
Now prepare two bowls and get a smaller one too.
In the smaller one, pour the Oat milk, then mix the dried onion, the paprika, the crushed garlic and the sugar in another bowl.
In the remaining one we need to put the flour, the rice starch and a pinch of a salt.
The only thing to do before eating these nuggets, now, is to bread them:
Roll each nugget in the paprika mixture, then toss them into the milk bowl and lastly roll each nugget in the flour and starch mix.
And here we are! Our vegan chick-fil-a nuggets are ready to be fried.
Deep-fry them over high heat until they turn golden brown.
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and serve.
These nuggets are great served with a dill-flavored yogurt sauce or BBQ Sauce.
