Important Tips for Best vegan Swiss Burger

Tip 1: Ensure your skillet is heated to medium heat before adding plant-based butter. This will ensure that your onions and mushrooms cook perfectly as they sauté.

Tip 2: Don’t be afraid to let your mushrooms and onions caramelise! Their flavour will be deep and rich as a result, taking your veggie burger to the next level.

Tip 3: Remember to toast your burger buns! In addition to adding a great contrast to the soft, juicy burger, this will give them a crispy texture.

Tip 4: To give your patties an extra taste boost, top it with a slice of vegan Swiss cheese and caramelised onions.

Tip 5: Although I’ve not added toppings to this recipe, you can be creative while choosing your toppings! Although lettuce, tomato, and vegan mayo are excellent choices, don’t be afraid to give them a unique spin. My suggestion is this delicious vegan tartar sauce. Also, consider avocado, pickles, or even vegan bacon for a special and mouthwatering taste.
