A vegan variation of Buffalo Chicken Dip! This is a tasty and creamy cheese vegan replacement of the original buffalo dip that is completely vegan and dairy-free.  It will be enjoyed by everyone and this makes a great superbowl finger food recipe. Plus, it’s healthy.

I present you my latest creation of Vegan Buffalo “chick’in” dip”! It has a similar taste to buffalo chicken wings but in a dip version. Prepared with red and fiery buffalo sauce. This recipe is so easy to make and you’ll need no cream cheese or ranch dressing to make it.

Dips are a staple side dish to party finger food–they are a perfect for a superbowl or movie night or watching TV with your partner on a typical day of the week. This creamy dip resembles Buffalo chicken wings. It has that spicy note that is great for any dinner party entree, game snack, or movie marathon!

How Good is Vegan Buffalo Chicken Dip?

Whenever I have to make something for a meatless party, movie night, potluck, or game, everyone asks me for this recipe. Thus, I highly suggest this for any of the occasions I mentioned or if you simply crave something like buffalo chicken.

We are talking about a buffalo chicken dip that includes intense hot flavors and is super simple to whip up. Don’t make something else for your next party with friends. There is no comparison as this is one of the best vegan entrees you can make!

Vegan Buffalo Chicken Dip

To achieve that chicken consistency, you’ll need to have a baby jackfruit in water or brine. Avoid using it if it’s mature or canned in syrup.

I simply enjoy making jackfruit recipes and although vegan pulled pork is one of my favorite ways to use jackfruit, it also makes an excellent chicken replacement–especially if you have meat-eaters around that you want to impress.

Together with shredded jackfruit, this recipe utilizes vegan ranch dressing, dairy-free cream cheese, and vegan buffalo dip. Serve this awesome dip with some bread slices, roasted pita or veggies sticks.

Before anything else, you will require two cups of unripe jackfruit and pull it as you’ll do with real chicken or pork.

Then you have to mix the following ingredients with the shredded jackfruit before you put it in the oven to bake: combine  half a cup of vegan buffalo sauce and add one cup of dairy-free cream cheese along with half a cup of vegan ranch dressing. Finally, add some sliced spring onions and one cup of vegan shredded cheese and combine well!

Once you’re finished with mixing, take an oven-friendly plate or bowl to host your dip. Spoon your mixture into the plate, place on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Once you get it out of the oven, sprinkle with more spring onions and serve with some toasted bread, pita or veggies sticks on the side.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups unripe jackfruit (from a can in water), shredded
  • 1 8oz. pack cream cheese (vegan), softened at room temp
  • ½ cup vegan ranch dressing
  • ½ cup vegan buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup dairy-free cheese, shredded
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven at 350F/175C.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a big bowl.
  • Scoop the mixture into a shallow 1-quart baking plate.
  • Bake until mixture is heated through, while occasionally stirring. It should take 20 minutes.
  • Finally top with green onions and serve with crackers, chips, and vegetables.
